What is the value of a boundary survey when purchasing a new home? Is a new home not the biggest purchase in your life? You may think-it is not worth the money or a person involved with the sale may say “don’t bother” with a boundary survey. However, this security is much more important than the $50 warranty you pay for when buy a new T.V.! Lenders usually require title insurance for their protection but they do not always require boundary surveys and the related insurance for the buyer’s protection.
